Communist Smear Tactics And Why They're Effective

 

    As you will notice there's a prevailing trend among right, to use the same tactics that were employed by various communist organizations during the Cold War to use, for lack of a better, "smear tactics". But these aren't any ordinary tactics, these were specifically designed to discredit any populist movement from gaining a foothold in America for a long time. What are these you may ask? Well first of all, its naming your opponents as "fascist" or "nazi" to make them "shut up" because since WW2, no one wants to take Hitler or Mussolini at face value because of perceived atrocities committed during that time, which the victors wrote the books over, and continue to do so to this day. Who, in their right mind, wants to be called a "Nazi"? Certainly not the left, and increasingly, the right, because the right in this country sees authoritarianism as verboten and doesn't want to seem like the "bad guy". When people villianize a word, such as nazi or fascist, especially since what was perceived to have happened during their reign in Germany and Italy, respectively, everyone wants to be on the side of "good", whatever that may mean. But who gets to define what is "Good"? Certainly the left has set the agenda and the right plays into the hands of the agenda because no one wants to be seen as a terrorist or pogromist by any stretch of the imagination. No one wants to be the guy who "kills people" or "bombs people" or "holds people prisoner against their will" even if they are innocent. No one wants to be funny moustache guy because the mere image of totalitarianism strikes fear into the heart of the average American. 

    That aside, I don't think anyone should fear that distinction. afterall, the third position was the default form of government up until WW1, when the first monarchies fell (aside from France), and it worked. No one died, no one suffered, people were generally happy despite what random leftists tell you, mixed economies, leaders ordained by God, feudal serfs generally getting time off, more than your average capitalist wage slave these days (damn you Adam Smith!) and while things such as disease were more rampant and there was always food that wasn't processed correctly due to primitive technology (which today is not an issue) there's absolutely no reason we can't bring back this sort of system, no matter how outdated one might think it may be. While there's no real way to avoid the smear, the third position needs to redefine itself to distance itself from accusations of Fascism and Nazism. on its own terms, and save conservatism from its small government status as it sits today. Now many people hate Burke these days and think he was the start of this mess but upon closer inspection, he's a lot closer to genuine third position than most who identify as "conservative" today. The excessive intrusion of the schools of Rothbard and Von Mises have rendered conservatism as merely a traditionalist form of libertarianism rather than an unique ideology on its own, because of these so-called "communist smear tactics", if they have redefined the definition on their terms, we should in turn redefine what it means to be Fascist or third position without using such terms to define our goals in the first place. This in no way means "softening up" or "retreating", This is about controlling the narrative, and not allowing gatekeepers to define what True conservatism is despite their inherited socio-economic status. One instance is how the right is using Covid to turn the pro-choice phrase "my body, my choice" against the left. At least that's one step in the right direction, inversion of political language can be achieved, we just have to slowly pick our battles on which ones pertain to the current cultural climate. We could even try that with CRT and subvert their narrative, after all, its a philosophy that peddles to the lowest common denominator people and tries to uplift a race of people who were never truly destined for greatness, either by their own device or pure ignorance of how moral society should work. to integrate these people into academia would drop global IQ by several points and there's no saving them. We gave them a home, education, and the arts and the ability to live comfortably and they're ungrateful. So its no wonder that the left pushes for their acceptance, they want a society of ingrates, and if they want to be "dirty ignorant people" lets show them how dirty and ignorant We can be. 

    Which brings me to another point about optics. We don't need to play by some elevated sense of honor, because so far that's gotten us nowhere. its time to explore other options because playing nice isn't working. No amount of trying to appeal to greater man concepts, like that of Thomas Carlyle will work any longer, if they want us to play in the mud, let them eat cake. Lego ma ego.
